These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of WP Detector (“WPDetector”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including our website, scanning features, content, and services (collectively, the “Service”).
1) Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2) Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age required by your local law) and have the legal authority to agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.
3) Acceptable Use
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- Only scan websites you own or have permission to test. Do not perform actions that could degrade, damage, or disrupt third-party sites or infrastructure.
- Do not attempt to access non-public resources, exploit vulnerabilities, or bypass security controls.
- Do not use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or other harmful content.
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code unless permitted by law.
4) Accounts and Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
5) Intellectual Property
The Service, including software, features, content, and branding, is owned by WP Detector or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.
6) Content and Results
- Scan outputs and reports are provided for informational purposes and are not guaranteed to be exhaustive or error-free.
- You are responsible for how you use scan results and for implementing security recommendations.
7) Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., analytics, hosting). We are not responsible for third‑party content, policies, or practices.
8) Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error‑free.
9) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WP Detector and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for all claims in aggregate will not exceed the greater of €50 or the amount you paid (if any) for the Service during the 3 months preceding the claim.
10) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WP Detector, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11) Modifications to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
12) Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms will cease immediately.
13) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Madrid, Spain will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.
14) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated via the website or email.
